SCOTLAND
Scotland Is famous for its beautiful, rugged, and dramatic landscapes and picturesque villages. Yet it is a small country, about the size of South Carolina, situated in the northern part of the United Kingdom. It contains almost 800 islands, the most famous of which is the Isle of Skye.
PANTANAL
The Pantanal Conservation Area in Brazil has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000 based on its rich biodiversity, freshwater wetlands, and ecological processes. It is home to jaguars, giant otters, capybaras, at least 650 species of birds, and many other species of animals. The conservation area is only a small part of the Pantanal, the world's largest tropical wetland. About 95% is privately owned for cattle ranching, agriculture, logging, and development.
